KayAnne was born and raised in Southern California and then attended the University of Texas in Austin where she studied journalism. She enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1984 and served eight years on active duty as a combat correspondent and military broadcaster for Armed Forces Radio and Television. After being honorably discharged at the rank of sergeant, she worked nearly four years as executive assistant to two members of Congress on Capitol Hill. KayAnne also spent nearly 20 years in marketing and public relations, banking, and freelance writing. Having lived and worked in Prescott for the past 15 years, she has a passion for this community and a strong desire to help others learn more about just how great life in Prescott is. KayAnne has one daughter who was born and raised in Prescott and is currently a student at Arizona State University in Tempe.
