Mississippi girls know how to cook great Southern dishes, host elegant Southern parties, and always look their best when they walk out the door. I'm sure proud to be a lifelong Mississippi girl, but honestly I can't do any of those things. I do love blue plate specials, sweet tea, any kind of party, walking my dogs Lula and Beau, watching my boys sporting events, learning all the girlie things with my two precious granddaughters, singing all the great Baptist hymns (I mouth the words since I can't make a joyful noise), going to the beach, reading a good book, being outside in the Mississippi heat, and pretty much everything about my husband!
I graduated from Ole Miss in 1988 and taught 5th grade for one year. My short teaching career was followed by a busy life at home chasing, pitching, catching, biking, rebounding, swimming, climbing, and more chasing my two sons. When our younger son started school I also went back to school to become a REALTOR. After selling real estate in Mississippi for 20 years I decided it was time to open my own real estate company so in 2019 Dye & Company was established.
I can honestly say I love what I do and where I live.
