Jeanette got her Bachelors degree in education, and a secondary major in business. In 1997, Jeanette took a summer job with one of the nations largest private lending institutions and quickly moved into a management role. Jeanette loved working with special needs kids, but she was a single mom and wanted a better life for her son. Later, Jeanette was presented with an opportunity to move from California to Scottsdale, AZ in 2000 where she and 5 partners built a start-up Title IV Private Lending Company, and successfully built the Company with virtually no capital. In 2006, they had an annual sales volume of $4.7 Billion dollars in 2006. As Executive Vice-President of Loan Operations, Jeanette successfully developed a performance-based customer service and quality control team of 200 employees within her division, created efficient processes, procedures, and evolving technology within the organization, including their business relationships with 43 affiliate partners. Jeanette managed the funding of loans for over 4,500 private universities and colleges, and direct consumer consolidation loans. The Company funded nearly $5 Billion in annual sales in one year alone and the Company reached a buyout agreement in 2007, and Jeanette was asked to stay on for another 3-5 years.

Jeanette recognized that her value of having a successful career should no longer consume her life and made the difficult decision to retire for a few years and cherish the time she had left with her son, before he went off to college.

Five years later, Jeanette got her real estate license in Nevada and Arizona. Jeanette's entrepreneurial business acumen was in alignment with Sotheby's luxury brand, and in 2013, joined Russ Lyon | Sotheby's International Realty brokerage.

Later, in 2015, Jeanette partnered with Sedona's top real estate professional Realtor, Ed Pennington. Together, Ed and Jeanette created one of the most successful real estate partnerships in Arizona, obtaining most of their business from referrals and repeat clients. Their client 5-Star testimonials as Zillow's Premier Agents, say it all. Ed and Jeanette are loved and well-respected in the community, and if you talk to any Realtor or former client, they will say: Ed and Jeanette offer the highest level of integrity, professional service, and leadership. Within her first two years as a professional Realtor in Sedona, Jeanette earned the title "Sedona's Top 20 Realtors", (there were over 400 licensed agents at the time) and in 2019, awarded the Lyon Elite "Top 1%" with their brokerage, Russ Lyon | Sotheby's International Realty in Sedona.
