Jay Law is a leader in residential, commercial and land sales with enhanced focus on preparing property to sell for top dollar with more than 20 years of experience. In 2015, Jay began developing a plan for a real estate company that partnered with an elite group of real estate professionals discovered through an interview process and strict training. The Real Estate Firm was born from this business plan and currently partners with 30 top producing Realtors. Since opening its doors in 2016, The Real Estate Firm has been named Best Real Estate Company in Berkeley County on multiple occasions.
While continuing to operate The Real Estate Firm, Jay is also a member of the CTAR Grievance and Professional Standards Board, School Board Member for St. Johns Christian Academy and holds an elected position on the Moncks Corner City Council.
During his career, Jay has managed teams of hundreds of agents for global and local brands, and was an instructor for the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS. Jay is also a past member of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors Board of Directors, CodeREAD, and the Legislative Committees.
Jay has been honored with awards such as the East Cooper Top Producer's Club, Highest Mortgage Conversion for Shelter Mortgage, and has multiple times been awarded with the Realtors of Distinction award. Other honors received include an award for Top 10 Most Expensive Homes Sold, featured HGTV agent for Homes Sold in Record Time, Top 5 agents in Charleston County and was voted Best Agent in Berkeley County. In 2012, Jay became Loss Mitigation Certified for dealing with short sales and foreclosures and is RENE certified-Real Estate Negotiations Expert.
Jay and his wife Mandy were married at the Summerall Chapel in 2006 and they have 2 children, a daughter, Addison, and a son Drayton. They attend The First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner. Jay received his Master of Business Administration Degree in 2010 and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and Mass Communications through the University of South Carolina in 1998. Jay and Mandy enjoy staycations exploring the low country they both grew up in and boating in the scenic rivers and lakes of the area. He is the son of James N. Law and Helene L. Mungo.
