Marissa is originally from Los Angeles, California and is a graduate of Western Michigan University's Theatre program with a BFA in Theatre Performance. She has always been passionate about the real estate business, and has experience as an assistant property manager for a complex of 300+ apartment homes, as well as, an assistant to one of the top realtors in Kalamazoo. Marissa loves being involved in the local community as an actor/director and serving as a board member of the Black Arts and Cultural Center, Art League for the Kalamazoo Institute for the Arts, Read and Write Kalamazoo, and Western Michigan University Theatre Guild. She resides in the Milwood neighborhood of Kalamazoo with her husband and two beautiful children.
