Martinique (Marti) Wells is the Qualifying Broker for Mesilla Valley Property Group LLC in Las Cruces, NM.
As the daughter of an Army Major, Marti was lucky enough to travel the world. "It was a great way to grow up", she notes.
After her father retired to New Mexico Marti completed high school and attended college before starting her own mold cutting business for gold and silver jewelry. After several years of self employment, she went to work for Mervyn's where she gained seven years of invaluable customer service experience. Marti earned her New Mexico real estate license in 1985.
In 1987 Marti moved to Truth or Consequences, NM, where she sold real estate for fourteen years. While a Top Producer in Sierra County she was active in the Chamber of Commerce, the Local Board of Realtors and the Realtors Association of New Mexico. Marti served as Sec./Treasure for three years, and President for two years with the Sierra County Board of Realtors . She was honored to be chosen as Sierra County's 1996 Realtor of the Year. Marti has been on the Professional Standards Committee at both the State and Local levels for almost thirty years.
In 2002 Marti made the move to Las Cruces and became affiliated with a ReMax franchise. On January 1, 2003, Marti opened Accent Real Estate which has operated successfully ever since.
Marti holds the following professional Realtor designations: Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI) and Sellers Residential Specialist (SRS).
Marti's ethical standards, professionalism and dedication have earned her respect from fellow Realtors as well as her customers/clients. Marti points out that she works with both buyers and sellers.
