Travis was born and raised in Boone County. Attending Columbia Public Schools, and then graduating from Sturgeon High School in 1998, he is familiar with Boone County. Travis graduated from the University of Missouri in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in Personal Finance & Planning.

Upon graduation, Travis entered the real estate world, beginning as a mortgage lender. In December 2003, he obtained his real estate license and began working with Plaza Real Estate in January 2004. Within 3 years, he was a multi-million dollar producer and helped buyers & sellers with their real estate needs.

Travis moved to Weichert, Realtors - First Tier in Jan of 2017, and he has continued to best his previous years in sales year after year. He continues to be a multi-million dollar producer, while building a team of dedicated sales professionals.

Travis specializes in residential sales, but also has experience with commercial , investment, & land properties. As a real estate investment owner, he has personal expertise in the duplex and income property market.

He also stays busy in extracurricular activities. He is currently a member of the Columbia Board of Realtors, Graduated the CBOR Leadership academy, and Serves on the Board of Directors, previously the MLS Committee, Strategic Planning and Realtor & Friends committees for CBOR. He is also a member, and Past President for the Show Me Business Network. He is a member of the Downtown Optimist Club and Elk's Lodge.

When not helping People buy and sell, he enjoys spending time with his Family Jessica Kempf and two children Colten and Callie on their Rocheport Mini Farm!
